Steps

Translated from the Korean original. Amounts are as in the original recipe.

  1. Finely chop the rice cakes.
  2. Wash the brown rice, black rice, white rice, and millet and soak them in water.
  3. Season the beef and pork with salt, minced garlic, sugar, and sesame oil.
  4. Finely chop the carrot and zucchini.
  5. Separate the egg yolk and white and fry each into a thin sheet (jidan).
  6. Cook rice with the soaked grains, mix the rice with the mixtures from steps 3 and 4 to form mini tteok-galbi, cook them in an oiled pan, and garnish with the yellow and white egg sheets.
💡 TipServing with tomato helps flush out sodium, and using multigrains increases the amount of fiber.
