Steps

Translated from the Korean original. Amounts are as in the original recipe.

  1. Clean the pork well and mince it finely.
  2. Cut the tofu into 1cm squares.
  3. Remove the skin and seeds of the tomato and cut it to the same size as the tofu.
  4. Stir-fry the scallion and ginger in an oiled pan until fragrant, then add step 1, stir-fry, and set aside separately.
  5. Add the tomato, tofu, and meat to an oiled pan and stir-fry, pour in just enough stock to barely cover, and season with soy sauce and salt.
  6. When the sauce has reduced, add the tofu and adjust the sauce thickness with the starch slurry.
💡 TipDissolving the starch in the stock improves the aroma of the dish. Take care not to crush the meat, tofu, or tomato, and the whole dish should have a soft texture.
