Steps
Translated from the Korean original. Amounts are as in the original recipe.
- Remove the caps of the pine nuts and wipe off any dust by rubbing with a damp cloth.
- Soak the walnuts in lukewarm water and remove the skins.
- Peel the jujubes thinly in a spiral and mince finely.
- Put the corn syrup and sugar in a pot, add a little water, and make a clear syrup over low heat.
- Add the minced jujubes and syrup to the pine nuts, walnuts, and toasted sesame seeds and mix until clumped.
- While still slightly hot, press into rounds by hand.
💡 TipA higher proportion of corn syrup makes it less firm.
