Steps
Translated from the Korean original. Amounts are as in the original recipe.
- Blanch the gondre in hot water, rinse thoroughly, and slice finely.
- Squeeze the moisture out of the tofu.
- Make the seasoning sauce with the sauce ingredients and the squeezed tofu.
- Blanch the oyster mushrooms in hot water, remove the moisture, and tear into thin strips.
- Heat sesame oil in a pot, stir-fry the gondre, then add the rice and cook it.
- During the steaming stage, place the oyster mushrooms on top to finish the rice.
💡 TipTofu is used to reduce the amount of doenjang in the sauce and add nuttiness, and mushrooms enhance the texture and flavor with their chewiness.
