Steps
Translated from the Korean original. Amounts are as in the original recipe.
- Boil the green onion, garlic and beef with water (300g), then strain through a cotton cloth to make the broth.
- Wash and trim the soybean sprouts and kimchi in water.
- Drain the tofu, mince the red chili pepper, mix them with the pork, knead, and shape into rounds to make meatballs.
- Put the meatballs in a steamer with rising steam and steam them.
- Boil the broth, and when it boils, add the kimchi, soybean sprouts and salted shrimp.
- Boil a little longer, then add the meatballs and boil a little more to finish.
💡 TipThe kimchi is washed once in water to remove as much salt as possible, the beef broth gives deep flavor, and red chili pepper adds spiciness, so no extra salt is used, reducing sodium intake.
