Steps

Translated from the Korean original. Amounts are as in the original recipe.

  1. Put the tofu in a large bowl and place a heavy bowl filled with water on top for 3 minutes to remove moisture.
  2. Scoop a square hollow out of the tofu, then squeeze the scooped-out tofu dry and mash it.
  3. Finely chop the bell pepper and perilla leaves.
  4. Drain the canned tuna in a sieve, then pour hot water over it to remove the oil and salt.
  5. In a bowl, combine the mashed tofu, prepared vegetables, multigrain rice, and tuna, add the seasonings, and mix evenly.
  6. Shape the rice mixture into round balls and place them in the hollowed-out tofu to finish.
💡 Tip- When using processed foods such as canned tuna, blanching them or pouring hot water over them can reduce sodium intake. - Stevia reduces added sugar.
