Steps
Translated from the Korean original. Amounts are as in the original recipe.
- Cube the cabbage, onion, shiitake mushrooms, button mushrooms, bell pepper and green bell pepper into bite-size pieces, and slice the green onion on the diagonal.
- Slice the garlic and stir-fry it in a pan with oil for 4 to 5 minutes until translucent.
- Steam the tomato in a steamer with rising steam, peel it, and stir-fry it with the onion while mashing it.
- Finely grate the beet and add it to stir-fry together.
- Put the pork in a pan with cooking oil and stir-fry it with the tomato-beet sauce.
- Season with the seasoning, then add the cabbage, shiitake mushrooms, button mushrooms, bell pepper, green bell pepper and green onion and stir-fry briefly to finish.
💡 TipThe amount of gochujang is cut by more than half, and tomato and beet provide flavor, reducing sodium intake. Bell pepper and green bell pepper are high in potassium, which helps excrete sodium.
