Steps
Translated from the Korean original. Amounts are as in the original recipe.
- Cut the beef into about 2 cm cubes, cook it in water until about 80% done, then rinse it clean in cold water.
- Cut the onion into bite-sized pieces and make a soy sauce liquid with 400 g of water.
- Start by simmering the blanched beef in the soy sauce liquid.
- Add the quail eggs and simmer together.
- Finally, add the cherry tomatoes, onion, garlic, and shishito peppers and simmer.
💡 TipBlanching the eye of round once keeps the soy sauce from soaking deep into the meat.
