Steps
Translated from the Korean original. Amounts are as in the original recipe.
- Mix the ground beef with the seasoning and mash the tofu.
- Finely chop the zucchini and carrot.
- Soak the shiitake mushrooms, cut them into thin strips, lightly toss them with sesame oil and mushroom garlic salt, and stir-fry.
- Stir-fry the seasoned beef in a pan.
- In the pan used for the beef, add the rice and shiitake and simmer, then add the tofu to make a porridge.
- Add the chopped zucchini and carrot and simmer. Just before turning off the heat, add the cheonggukjang powder and black sesame seeds to finish the porridge.
💡 TipThe cheonggukjang powder in the porridge gives a savory flavor that replaces saltiness, and the tofu, beef, and vegetables enhance the taste through texture and color.
