Steps
Translated from the Korean original. Amounts are as in the original recipe.
- Cut the zucchini into half-moons.
- Lightly brine the cut zucchini with salt, remove the moisture, and set aside.
- Cut the onion into thin strips, cut the green onion into quarters, and slice the red chili pepper on the diagonal, naturally removing the seeds.
- Add the perilla oil to a pan and stir-fry the garlic first.
- Add the dried shrimp to the pan and stir-fry.
- When the dried shrimp are stir-fried, add the cut zucchini and stir-fry, then add the onion and green onion, and add the perilla seed powder and lightly stir-fry, and finally add the sliced red chili pepper and stir-fry just once more to finish.
💡 TipDried shrimp and perilla seed powder add savory depth and nuttiness.
