Steps

Translated from the Korean original. Amounts are as in the original recipe.

  1. Gently slice the smoked salmon into thin sheets.
  2. Finely chop the onion and pickles.
  3. Lightly sprinkle pepper on the sliced smoked salmon, add the onion and pickles, and roll it up.
  4. Separate the orange peel from the flesh and cut it up.
  5. Put the orange juice, sugar, lemon, and the separated orange in a pot and boil.
  6. Add the starch slurry and sweet chili sauce to the boiling orange sauce and boil briefly. Place the rolled smoked salmon on a plate, put the baby greens on one side, and finish with the orange sauce over the top.
💡 TipPickles and onion bring out the flavor of the smoked salmon even more, and orange in the sauce adds a sweet-and-sour taste, making a tasty roll that is low in sodium.
