Steps

Translated from the Korean original. Amounts are as in the original recipe.

  1. Cut the beef into rectangles about 6cm long, 2cm wide, and 0.5cm thick, then marinate with starch and soy sauce.
  2. Mince the ginger, peel the orange and cut out only the segments, and peel and core the pineapple and cut into 0.5cm dice.
  3. Mix the orange juice, oyster sauce, honey, and starch to make the sauce.
  4. Toast the sesame seeds in a dry pan without oil and let cool, then oil the pan and cook the marinated beef evenly on both sides.
  5. Add the sauce to step 4 and boil while stirring, and when it starts to thicken, add the orange and pineapple and cook briefly.
  6. Place step 5 on a plate and sprinkle with sesame seeds just before serving.
💡 TipIf fresh pineapple is added to meat without cooking, it makes the meat too tender and gives an unwanted texture, so cook it first.
