Steps

Translated from the Korean original. Amounts are as in the original recipe.

  1. Peel and mince the shrimp.
  2. Skin the squid using salt and mince it.
  3. Finely julienne the zucchini, perilla leaves, and jujubes.
  4. Lightly salt the julienned zucchini and perilla leaves, then squeeze out the moisture.
  5. Mix the flour with the glutinous rice flour, zucchini, perilla leaves, julienned jujubes, and minced shrimp and squid, make crepes (jeonbyeong) in an oiled pan, roll them up, cut, and place on a plate.
  6. Make a sauce with the low-sodium soy sauce, vinegar, and sugar.
💡 TipBecause minced shrimp and squid are added, you can make tasty jeonbyeong without adding salt.
