Steps

Translated from the Korean original. Amounts are as in the original recipe.

  1. Spread the loin out wide and season it with salt and pepper.
  2. Remove the cores of the bell pepper and pineapple and cut them into about 7 cm lengths.
  3. Blanch the spinach in boiling water and rinse in cold water.
  4. Place the prepared bell pepper, spinach, and pineapple on the seasoned loin.
  5. Add cheese to the loin with the vegetables and pineapple, roll it up tightly, coat in flour, beaten egg, and breadcrumbs in that order, deep-fry in oil at 170-180 C for about 3 minutes, and drain the oil.
  6. Boil the chili sauce, water, and sugar in a pot until bubbling, add the starch slurry, and boil once more, then pour it over the fried loin vegetable rolls to finish.
💡 TipFruit and vegetables make a dish that children can eat evenly, and the fresh pineapple and sweet-and-spicy chili sauce add a rich flavor.
