Steps
Translated from the Korean original. Amounts are as in the original recipe.
- Cut the onion into 3 mm strips, slice the garlic flat, and slice the daepa and cheongyang chili peppers diagonally.
- Mix the ground pork with the gochujang and ground black pepper (0.3 tbsp) and marinate for 10 minutes.
- Heat a pan over medium heat with olive oil (3 tbsp), add the ground pork and gochugaru, and stir-fry until the outside of the pork turns white.
- Add the flat-sliced garlic, daepa, onion, dried shrimp, and ground black pepper (0.3 tbsp) to olive oil (7 tbsp) and stir-fry until the garlic is golden.
- Add the tofu noodles and chicken broth (1/2 cup) and stir-fry until the broth reduces, then add ground black pepper (0.2 tbsp) and the cheongyang chili peppers and stir-fry for 1 minute.
- Put in a bowl and finish with the stir-fried pork and the onion marinated in vinegar on the side.
💡 Tip- Instead of seasoning agents, garlic, daepa, dried shrimp, and chicken broth bring out the savory flavor, and the sharp heat of cheongyang chili peppers cuts the richness.
