Steps

Translated from the Korean original. Amounts are as in the original recipe.

  1. Cut the chicken into small pieces, lightly season with salt and pepper, and mix in the egg.
  2. Coat the egg-mixed chicken evenly with the starch.
  3. Lightly blanch each of the noodles separately in boiling water and drain.
  4. Deep-fry each of the drained noodles in oil at 170 C inside a small strainer to form a nest, then drain the oil on a napkin.
  5. Deep-fry the starch-coated chicken, drain the oil, and place it on top of the noodle nests.
  6. Boil the lemon and sugar with water in a pot, take out the lemon, add the garlic, ginger, condensed milk, vinegar, and dissolved starch, and boil briefly once more to make a starch sauce. Pour it over the fried chicken to finish.
💡 TipThe thickness of the starch sauce lets you taste the flavor longer even with little sodium.
