Steps

Translated from the Korean original. Amounts are as in the original recipe.

  1. Remove the innards from the squid and wash it clean.
  2. Finely julienne the garlic chives, potato, carrot, and onion into about 2 cm lengths.
  3. Mix the pancake mix and misugaru in a 3 : 1 ratio.
  4. Add water to the ingredients from steps 1, 2, and 3 to make a batter and season with salt.
  5. Heat brown rice oil in a pan, drop in the batter from step 3 in rounds, and pan-fry until golden brown.
  6. Place in a dish to finish.
💡 TipIf you add too much misugaru, the texture of the pancake becomes rough.
