Steps

Translated from the Korean original. Amounts are as in the original recipe.

  1. Pit the jujubes by cutting around the seed, mince finely, and stir-fry in a pan.
  2. Mince the beef, pork, onion, and garlic.
  3. Coarsely chop the napa cabbage leaf, bell pepper, king oyster mushroom, and carrot.
  4. Mix the minced beef, pork, onion, garlic, jujubes, napa cabbage, bell pepper, king oyster mushroom, and carrot with salt and black pepper, knead well, and shape into steaks.
  5. Lightly oil a pan and cook the steaks through, then place on a plate; peel the kabocha squash, pan-fry it, and add to the plate.
  6. Grate the pear, add the low-sodium soy sauce and sugar, and stir well to make a sauce; pour it over the cooked steaks to finish.
💡 TipMaking the sauce with grated pear and low-sodium soy sauce tenderizes the meat and reduces sodium.
