Steps

Translated from the Korean original. Amounts are as in the original recipe.

  1. Cut the frozen mackerel into bite-size pieces, coat in starch, and double-fry in oil.
  2. Cut the zucchini, cherry tomatoes and apple into suitable sizes.
  3. Cut the potato and onion into suitable sizes, put the potato first in 1 cup of water and boil, then add the onion and boil to bring out sweetness.
  4. Mix the curry powder into the milk to soften it, then add to the boiling potato.
  5. Drain the oil from the fried mackerel with paper towels.
  6. When the curry is done, add the apple, cherry tomatoes and honey, and pour over the fried mackerel to finish.
💡 TipThe sweet-and-sour (tangsu) sauce is made with milk, curry powder and fruit, replacing saltiness with a savory, mild flavor.
