Steps

Translated from the Korean original. Amounts are as in the original recipe.

  1. Bring one cup of water to a boil in a pot, add a little salt, then add the rice and cook.
  2. When the rice has absorbed the water, add the butter and mix evenly, stir in the Parmesan cheese, and spread on a plate to cool.
  3. Coarsely chop the cherry tomatoes and remove the moisture, and cut the basil into thin strips.
  4. Tear the mozzarella cheese into small pieces by hand; mix half with the basil and tomatoes and season with salt and olive oil, and mix the rest with the corn.
  5. Put each of the fillings from step 4 into the cooled rice and shape into balls.
  6. Coat in beaten egg and then breadcrumbs, and fry in 170°C oil.
💡 TipUsing corn and tomatoes gives a subtle natural sweetness.
