Steps

Translated from the Korean original. Amounts are as in the original recipe.

  1. Wash the apple and pear skins clean with baking soda, slice them flat, and soak in sugar water so they do not change color.
  2. Cut the banana into rounds, peel the kiwi and cut it into ginkgo-leaf shapes, and remove the core of the pineapple and cut it into squares.
  3. Peel the Chinese yam and cut it into rounds.
  4. Chop the garlic into small pieces and lightly stir-fry it in a pan with cooking oil.
  5. Mix the stir-fried garlic (4), vinegar, sugar, soy sauce, and chili flakes evenly to make the seasoning sauce.
  6. Drain the apple and pear from the sugar water, add the prepared fruit and yam, and toss with the seasoning sauce just before eating to finish.
💡 TipThe stir-fried garlic seasoning, which pairs wonderfully with fruit, lowers the sodium.
